We had an exciting basement renovation that Dustin and his team did an amazing job with!  We required a basement bedroom for our teenage daughter but wanted a studio suite built.  Within the suite we elected for a large walk in closet with large shelving units and a full bathroom linked to the entire suite.  The end result was incredible.  Dustin incorporated a smooth flow from the bedroom to closet to washroom.  Barn doors were used, which allowed for a very unique look while maximizing space.  He was also able to ensure the storage room and sump pump room, which surrounds the area were discreetly enclosed. In addition, Dustin was so pleasant to work with.  He had such a positive approach to our ideas and was very calm during construction which is unique in the industry.  He was able to source many different requests through his contacts and this made the final product very unique. Since our project was completed we have recommended Dustin and his team on several projects for friends and family.  I know they have all been very impressed.

We hired Dustin and his team to help create a backyard retreat. Our existing concrete patio was too small to entertain guests and was starting to crumble. Based on an initial plan from our landscape designer, we worked collaboratively with Dustin to create 750 sq ft of amazing outdoor entertaining space! In addition to a mulit-tiered deck with a built in hot tub, he designed a pergola, an enclosure for our pool equipment, and a 6′ cedar bench. He helped us make the decision on which deck product to use, the layout and other aspects of the design. We appreciated Dustin’s creativeness and attention to detail in all his carpentry and design skills and how he brought our vision to life. He and his team were professional, knowledgeable, efficient and incredibly hard working. They’ve made our backyard space one that is lovely year round and evokes a WOW! from everyone who sees it!

We worked with Dustin from Carter & Sons on two projects, both custom design ones. We asked for window boxes and a front gate that would help create a beautiful and distinct flavour for our arts & craft style 1920s-era home. We were so impressed by Dustin’s professionalism, workmanship and overall project management. He was prompt in meeting with us, met all deadlines and delivered final products that were more than we hoped for. As owners of an older home, we have worked with many different contractors on rennovation projects – Dustin has been by far the best. If he says it will be done at a certain time, it will be. And there are never any surprises. We would be happy to recommend Dustin – you can contact him directly for our phone or email contact information.
